Unique work · 1 of 1 · Signed by the artist · Certificate of authenticity
A sandy path cuts through the dune grass towards a sea on fire. Three palms lean into the wind as the sun sinks into a sky of magenta, orange and gold.
The story behind the painting
The whole painting was built around a single moment: the last minute before the sun goes, when the sky is brighter than the sea.

How bidding works
Maximum bids. Enter the most you would pay. The system places bids for you, one increment at a time, only when someone else bids against you. Your maximum is never shown to others.
Increments. Rs 500 up to Rs 10,000 · Rs 1,000 to 25,000 · Rs 2,500 to 50,000 · Rs 5,000 to 100,000 · Rs 10,000 to 250,000 · Rs 25,000 to 500,000 · Rs 50,000 above.
Final minutes. A bid in the last 5 minutes extends the auction by 5 minutes, so nobody can snipe.
Reserve. Some lots carry a confidential reserve. If the final bid is below it, the work is not sold.
No buyer's premium. The hammer price is what you pay, plus shipping if you need delivery. Payment is due within 5 days.
